Story

At Bargi, in Gundlupet Taluk of Chamarajanagar district, Sanatan Hindu International Help Centre is building a temple for Sri Aadi Varahi Amma and Sri Runamukteshwar Mahadev, following the Kerala architectural plan: a square Sreekovil under a tiered copper roof, with 27 Shivalingas and 27 Homa Kundas for the Pratishta.

With the support of early donors, the land was marked out, the trenches were dug by hand and a granite foundation was laid. That foundation is now complete. Construction has paused because the funds for bricks, cement, steel and stone have run out.

To complete the temple, the trust needs:

  • ₹25 lakh for Building materials
  • ₹7.5 lakh for Varahi Amma Vigraha
  • ₹7.5 lakh for Runamukteshwar Vigraha
  • ₹15 lakh for Pratishta Karyakrama
  • ₹3 lakh for Gau Seva

Alongside the temple, the trust is building a Sant Ashrama for Sadhus and Saints, and runs a Goshala where cows are cared for with devotion. Every devotee who gives has their Gotra and name included in the Sankalpa during the Pratishta Karyakrama.
